Sanjeeda has played various roles in television soap operas. She started her acting career in the year 2003 with the film Baghban. She made her acting debut as Nimmo in the 2005 TV series Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka. Subsequently, she appeared as a vamp in the 2007 Star Plus series Qayamat. The same year, she participated in a dance competition show called Nach Baliye 3 with husband Aamir Ali, the pair won the competition.
In 2008, she appeared with Aamir Ali in the serial ‘Kya Dil Mein Hai’ telecast on 9X. In the year 2014, she appeared in the role of Durga Thakur in the Star Plus show ‘Ek Haseena Thi’, this serial was a breakthrough in her career as her performance was appreciated by the critics and audience.
She appeared in supporting roles in ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ in 2016, Ghahriyaan in 2017, and Love Ka Hai Intezaar.
In 2020, she played the role of Priya in Taish and Netflix’s horror film ‘Kali Khuhi’.
The first release of the year 2024 was Fighter, in which she played the role of Sanchi, an Air Force officer’s wife, opposite Karan Singh Grover. After this, she appeared in the role of Waheeda in the recently released blockbuster Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s web series ‘Heeramandi’.
