Aditi’s father, classical singer Ehsaan Hydari, is a Bohri Muslim and her mother, Vidya Rao, is a Buddhist and Chitrapur Saraswat from Mangalore, who is half Telugu. She started his film career in 2006 with the Malayalam film Prajapati.

Career
Aditi Rao Hydari had entered the world of television from a young age. Aditi started learning Bharatanatyam from renowned dancer Leela Samson at the age of six. He has worked in many films. Aditi Rao Hydari started her film career in 2006 with the Malayalam film Prajapati. One of her most notable roles was in the romantic suspense film “Yeh Saali Zindagi” directed by Sudhir Mishra, released in 2011, for which she received the Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress.
After this, she appeared in many other films like the musical Rockstar (2011), the thriller Murder 3 (2013), the suspenseful Wazir (2016) and the historical drama Padmavat (2018).
In 2017, Hydari was awarded the SIIMA Award for Best Debut Tamil Actress for her leading role in Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai. He has since contributed to other South Indian cinema industries by working on films such as Sammohanam in Telugu. Her other famous South Asian films are Sufiyum Sujatayum Psycho and Chekka Chivanta Vaanam (2020).

Aditi Rao Hydari had entered the world of television from a young age. Her parents, classical singers Ehsaan Hydari and Vidya Rao, are both famous for their work in the Thumri and Dadra styles of music.
Aditi’s father was a Bohri Muslim, her father passed away in 2013, her father was a Hindu by birth. That’s why Hydari has mixed ancestry which includes Bohri, Chitrapur, Saraswat and Telugu.
Sir Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari and former Raja Raja J. Rameshwar Rao of the Wanaparthy family are two royal descendants. Aditi is the great-granddaughter of former Assam Governor Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari and her grandfather was Akbar Hydari, the former Prime Minister of Hyderabad State in colonial India. Aditi was 2 years old when her parents got divorced and her mother came to Delhi. His early years were divided between Hyderabad and New Delhi.
Aditi started learning Bharatanatyam from renowned dancer Leela Samson at the age of six. Aditi uses the surnames of both her parents in her name, Aditi says “My mother raised me and my father is a part of who I am, I wanted to retain both. Hydari’s Due to rarity I decided to keep both Rao and Hydari.”
