Nasir Khan’s full name is Nasir Kazi Khan. Nasir Khan is an old actor of Indian Hindi cinema world. Nasir is the son of Indian actor and comedian Badruddin Jamaluddin Qazi aka Johnny Walker. He was born in the year 1972 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to his father Johnny Walker and mother Noorjahan (actress). Nasir started his acting career with TV commercials, after which he acted in many films.
After a long gap from acting, Nasir has returned to the film world by acting in the series Heeramandi…The Diamond Bazaar, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was released in the year 2024.

Nasir Khan’s parents were well-known Bollywood actors and actresses of the 50s, his father Johnny Walker was a comedian. And his mother Noorjahan was a famous Bollywood actress. Career
Nasir Khan started his acting career in the year 1994. Made his place in Bollywood by acting in the film ‘Betaaj Badshah’ directed by Iqbal Durrani. Expanding his television career, he also appeared in the film ‘Aashirvaad’ directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee in 1998. Along with films, Nasir has also worked as a theater artist, anchoring and in television commercials.
Nasir Khan has done many films which are Baghban (2003), Shabaash You Can Do It (2009), Do Aur Do Paanch (2011), Beksoor (2012), Ishq Ho Gaya Mammu (2013), Street Love (2015), Ekta (2019) and Janko Rakhe Saiyan (2021).
Apart from this, Nasir has appeared in more than 30 serials. He received a lot of praise from fans by acting in Sony’s serial show ‘Shubh Labh-Aapke Ghar Mein’ and during a recent media interview, he talked about his long absence and comeback in the film world and talked about the current phase of his career. He said, “Indian TV is basically dominated by women.
So, if I am getting a strong role at the age of 52, I feel lucky. By God’s grace, I am now getting good shows, good roles and money. I can say that whatever I have achieved in life, I have done it on my own. Whenever I faced failures, it was because I did not take full advantage of the opportunities that came before me, it happened because of my mistakes and some wrong decisions.”
Talking about his hiatus from acting from 2008 to 2015, Nasir said,”From 2008 to 2015, I was out of the entertainment industry and worked with a US-based technology company. I was completely separated from the entertainment industry. Suddenly, the company shut down and there was a disagreement among the investors.
I was left alone and left with nothing. But I never cried nor went into depression. I am very positive and determined. I was ready for a fresh start. Therefore, returning to showbiz was the only option for me. My second innings in the entertainment industry started in 2016.”
Nasir has been seen in many serials since 2016. And made his fans happy by playing the role of Chaudhary Saheb in the recently released blockbuster web series Heeramandi…The Diamond Bazaar.
